Charles Hamilton: Fire in the Booth


Anyone who keeps their ear to the underground radio scene in the U.K will be familiar with the BBC's 1Xtra feature Fire in the Booth.

Originally implemented by distinguished hip hop DJ turn urban intelligentsia Tim Westwood, the segment has tested the freestyle credentials of  some of the most prominent names in the industry over the past decade.

These days, radio presenter Charlie Sloth cooks up the mix for a cocktail of veracious bars and his latest guest on the show was none other than This Perfect Life artist Charles Hamilton.

From forth the ash scattered booth that has played host to the likes of Eminem, 50 Cent and U.K Grime heavyweight Giggs, came the sleek cadence flow of Hamilton's 17-minute addition to the infamous booth.

Frank Ocean Announces Summer Release


After a three year hiatus from the album production scene, RnB singer Frank Ocean has announced that his latest album Boys Don’t Cry will drop this summer.

In 2012, Frank Ocean stamped his authority at the fulcrum of the RnB scene with the award-winning album Channel Orange and has thrilled fans by announcing his forthcoming release via Tumblr.
Whilst Ocean has remained tight lipped about the release, he posted photos of himself with two versions of the new album earlier today, sending social media fans into raptures.

Immortal Critique Podcast: 3rd April
